Who's yo' Daddy?

The current big distraction that is being proferred to the American public is the tragic-comedy which highlights the death of Anna Nicole Smith(Vickie Lynn Marshall) and her many fathered daughter, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern.

Judge Larry Seidlin decided on Thursday, February 22, 2007 that the body of Anna Nicole Smith be placed in the custody of her 5 1/2 month old daughter, Dannielynn, as the next of kin. Acting for the infant's wishes is her guardian Richard Milstein. It was the hope of Judge Seidlin that the remains be buried in the Bahamas beside her son Daniel who died in September 2006.

The written judgement of Seidlin, erudite and comprehensive, belies the farcial antics he manifested in the court proceedings. Maybe he was angling for a future television career alongside Judge Judy.

This does not spell an end to this issue. The big decision yet to be tackled is the paternity of the infant, Dannielynn.
To date there has been four claims for the fatherhood. Howard K. Stern, Anna's long time lawyer and registerd father of Dannielyn; Larry Birkhead, ex boyfriend of Anna; Prince Frederick Von Anhalt, husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor; and I believe a former bodyguard of Anna.

The true test of fatherhood could be established by means of DNA tests. Stern has refused to comply to this test. No doubt he doesn't want to risk his current registered father status. With all of Anna's extracurricular activities who could blame him?

The prize is the $500 million estate that was left by Anna's departed husband J. Howard Marshall who married her in 1994 at an age of 89. The estate is being contested by members of his family since his death in 1995.

Meanwhile, Dannielynn, who's yo' Daddy?

That is definitely more important than knowing how to resolve the mess in the Middle East!
